More Fresh Paint

We are still reconditioning the boat, behind Mark you can see the newly finished vertical surface.  The entire section surrounding the cockpit has been brought back to NEW condition.  Every crack, old screw hole or scratch has been properly fixed with new carbon fiber and epoxy, multiple coats of AWLGRIP primer and 3 finish coats of AWLGRIP paint.  We have also replaced all the tracks seen on the upper deck behind Mark and strengthened the deck surface by adding FR4-G10. We had new bases custom made for our Lewmar winches in England and new spline shafts custom made right here in San Diego for all of our belt-drive pedestals.  Mark is working on sanding our new floor chalks, we removed all the existing chalks due to wear and damage and rebuilt new ones that are much stronger. 
With guidance and assistance from Infinity Yacht Services, we are continuing repairing the entire floor surface and should have it completely repainted with AWLGRIP products soon.  Then we're on to the upper deck.

Wecome to Marnie Buddo !

Marnie has joined the SAIL USA-11 team and not only is a big help sailing but her experience in marketing is invaluable.  She is working on helping to secure corporate charters and team building events with our famous team member Annie Nelson.

In case you don't know - Annie is a former Olympic medalist in windsurfing, she was the navigator on Bill Koch's America's Cup All Women's Team in 1995, Yachtswoman of the Year in 2006 by the Southern California Yachting Association, among many other accomplishments.

Our New Office Space

We have a new office at the Kona Kai Marina that allows us a great meeting place to gather before and after our sails.  The space doubles as a business office for us to hold marketing and scheduling meetings as well as a showroom for our SAIL USA-11 sailing gear.

We have some great new windbreakers that had previously only been available to crew.  A photo will be visible on our website in the next few days.

You can buy any of our items from the office when you visit the boat or check out our website and purchase on-line and we send it right out to you.
