Steve,
Welcome to our
second newsletter. We've had a good winter with some great
sailing and we're looking forward to things warming up on the
bay. We hope to see you out enjoying everything San Diego and the
waterfront has to offer soon.

U.S. Coast Guard Inspections
|
|
|
 Certificate of
Inspection
Many of you know, we have been working on obtaining our certificate of
inspection from the USCG. This will allow us to be able to accept
larger groups of people out on our boat. We're getting close to
completion and took a couple of the USCG officers out on the boat a
couple of weeks ago. We performed our man-overboard drill with
their dummy and had him back on the boat in less that 2 minutes.
We were so quick to complete the task because we had just performed the
drill for real a couple of weeks earlier when one of our crew fell
overboard.

SPINNAKER SAILING

 Coming to a
close for passengers
We are enjoying sailing with a HUGE asymetric spinnaker that measures
4000 sq ft plus.
The Coast Guard will no longer let us use the kite with passengers when
we get our certificate of inspection (see story above).
Book you sail soon if you'd like to experience this, it's quite amazing
to see and feel.
